Hunter Hunter 25.5 Lake Norman Sail Club
Hi All,

I just purchased a 1985 Hunter 25.5. I haven't had a chance to take her out yet, but hope to this weekend. In the meantime, I was hoping to find any good pictures of a Hunter for my pc. I see there is an owner's gallery, but those are mostly Hunters in port. I was really hoping for some sort of action shot. I've tried Google Images, but can't really get much of anything good. Anyone have any or know where I can find some great action shots of Hunters breaking waves? :)

I always want the same thing. It takes another photographer to capture us in action. I talk to sailors who state they got a photo of me underway, and promise to send me a copy, but it always slips their mind.

Try the Sailboat Photo Gallery on the Sailing Texas website: http://www.sailingtexas.com/
There you will find photos of every Hunter 25.5 that has been offered for sale on the Sailing Texas website over the past 10+ years. Many of the photos are "cabin" shots and/or "in port" shots ... but you'll find a few photos of 25.5's under sail.

Regards,

E.

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked all over Sailing Texas photos and only found this:

I'll have to get someone at my new Sailing Club to take a picture of me. I think there is a race coming up in a month and someone might be able to take one there. If I get one, I will try to remember to post here!

The 1985 H25.5 is a slightly larger version of the wing-keel H23. They stopped building those boats in the late 80's in favor of the water-ballasted H23.5 and H26, which later became the H240 and H260.

Search the forum archives for "Empty Pockets" an H25.5 owned by Brian and Steph Bosley. They posted many pictures from their cruises in "Empty Pockets" and there may have been some pictures of the boat under sail.
