In January of this year Good Old Boat Magazine hired me to cover the 2nd Annual Good Old Boat Regatta in St. Petersburg, Florida. I photographed everything from the sign-in, skipper's meeting, the race, and the trophy presentation. Within two weeks of covering the event, the article and hundreds of photos were in the editor's hands. At the editor's request, I also wrote the shortened version for their web site.

In preparation for the 2012 regatta scheduled for January 21, my article about this year's race is currently running in their November/December issue. Unfortunately you can't read it online; you'll have to buy the magazine.

At the editor's request, I recently traveled to Pensacola, Florida to interview the owner of a 1976 Pearson 365 who has maintained the sailboat in excellent condition. I submitted the article and photos yesterday; hopefully you'll be seeing it in a future issue.

Last February a friend's Tartan 37 caught fire and although it didn't burn to the waterline it was totalled by the insurance company. If you would like to read my article about this unfortunate incident please follow this link and go to page 48 in the November issue of Southwinds Magazine.

Hope you like the articles.
