The good news is your poor, tired, slipping Spinlock XA clutches have exactly the same fastener spacings as the new XAS model. The XAS, while still made of plastic, is a better design which should result in fewer broken handles. I just replaced two old XA triples this past week. Unscrew the old ones, screw in the new ones with the same FHMS. Don't use 101 or 4200, the old ones were hard enough to pry loose having been sealed with silcone. If you upgrade, you might want to get some XAS replacement cams now while they are available. The bad news is, that the Lewmar clutches won't fit. Paul sv Escape Artist h336
