I am back from my Relative Vacation to Michigan. Saw some beautiful country and hugged a lot of my wife’s family members. They were complaining about the weather. It was too cold suggesting we Oregonians had tampered with their summer. Got to spend a day in St Joseph by Lake Michigan. No sailing for me, but the winds were up and a few boats were spotted beating to weather.

Speaking about weather, I just took a look at the forecast on Windy.

A nice High Pressure cell is dominating the Gulf of Alaska. It will bring us NW breezes and pleasant weather through the weekend.

I suspect a weak low will bring showers to some parts of BC and Washington starting next Tuesday the 17th. Conditions will be a bit iffy for a couple days until the Pacific High reestablishes it self to bring us a pleasant end to June 2025. Kids are getting out of school. Time to finish up the projects and get out on the water. This sailor is planning to spend the month of July sailing the Salish Sea. Maybe I’ll see you there.

We're headed out in a few days for a week or two, then again for at least the last half of July. Please try to arrange for consistent 10-15 kts during the day with low wind waves, calm at night, temperatures in the mid-70s.

Thank you, in advance.

I’ll get right on it.

Recently we have getting an annoying message “So sorry. Our lines are down. Will message when the power is restored! “
Every time I place a weather order. I’m beginning to think they are either ignoring me or they haven’t paid their bill.

I’m afraid you may have to take what you get. Keep happy thoughts.

Just what the doctor ordered. We'll be sailing in the Gulf Islands early this coming week. My wife is still struggling with seasickness and recently had a bad experience in the more exposed waters we usually sail in (west of Texada). I'm looking forward to calm seas and boring winds.
