I just got back from the Florida Keys and witnessed first hand Katrina. It was only a catagory one on Friday when I was there. My thoughts and prayers go out to those along the Gulf coast who are in harms way. Good luck to all of you. Joe Mullee

its rough, lots of stuff on it, the streets are
still covered with trees and stuff, but we are pretty quick on clean up. Things should be pretty good by friday.

Mike, the press said it missed Ft. Lauderdale.

I attached the NOAA site so you can see how the waves are stacking up in front of the storm. Buoy 42040 is already at 30 feet and you can see the dramatic increase over time. Excellent site to monitor what the wave action is doing. My prayers are with everyone down there.

trust me, it hit Fort Lauderdale
the 5 trees down in my yard and the dozzen or so in the road on my way to the store didnt get there by magic... We still have 400,000 residents without power down here in Ft Lauderdale and 600,000 in miami.
