To all of you good people, Rardi, Steve Dion,Ed, Sam Lust and all the other names that now escape me, I would very much like to extend my sincere wishes for good health to yourselves and families
I have never taken for granted all the times this bonehead (pointing to self) posted stupid questions that had easy answers, but never was there any sign of resignation/bother, from any of you
I have enjoyed reading and participating on all of your postings, and where possible, will help for free
More than happy to help out, and again thank you all for your assistance
Rardi's pictures of Sausalito bring back memories of 1986, when we travelled through America, and of course visited the Red wood Forest, ( Muir ?) and took all the sites of SF, like Fisherman's Wharf, etc... it was by far my favourite city!
Maybe I will sail with one of you !
Jorge

HNY back to you Jorge. Have enjoyed reading of your adventures, and even the brush with death, in your marine salvage yard. Wish we had one here. But not enough hurricanes in San Francisco to destroy zillions of sailboats en-mass. And when a sailboat does get salvaged, people who are in the business get first dibs. Then they go to the marine flea markets to sell what they have scavenged. The Harken block that has been weathering in the sun for the previous 15 years? Well you know that West Marine sold a similar design last year for $100. So that salvaged block certainly is worth $75!

All the best to you and yours this year! Who knows, it may be our last if the Myan's prediction is correct. Carpe Anum!
