Good Deal on Handheld VHF

Today West Marine is doing a special for $20 off any purchase over $100.

I bought a Standard Horizon HX290 from them today. The price was $129 originally. I got the $20 off with the sale today and then there is also a $20 mail in rebate.

The end price for the VHF was $90 when you get the rebate back. I had $42 on a gift card so I ended up paying about $68 out of pocket and it will end up being $48.

I am thinking that this radio will fit my needs well.

I got it the same over a year ago and it did work very good and still works good but lucky I got extra insurance for when it did stop working and they WM it replace it one time replace with the extra insurance.
