Good Bye & Happy New Year

Hello All, And Good Bye:

I've heard it said that the happiest days in a man's life are: 1 } The day
he buys a boat, and
2 } The day he sells it.

Over the past twenty-some years, I have owned two Albin Vega's: # 321,
"LORELEI" and # 1868, "VESPER." I have recently sold Vesper. Please watch these
pages as I'm fairly sure you will be hearing a great deal more of her in the
future. I won't say much about that future here because I don't want to steal the
thunder from her new skipper, Patrick.

I do not agree with 2 } , above. The day we signed the papers transferring
ownership was a sad one except for the fact that I know she has a bright
future. I hope to assist Patrick next year as he winterizes her for her next year
winter lay-up.

Meanwhile, please know that I have tremendously enjoyed sharing with all of
you, the many ideas, trials and tribulations of owning one of these
magnificent boats.

I will probably monitor these pages from time-to-time, being the nostalgic
type.

Most Sincerely,

Ed Davis, AKA SaylerEd@...

Hi Ed,

I am happy to report that your old Lorelei V321 is being totally renovated. I bought this old Vega in N. Stonington, CT last spring and she was trucked down to Captains Cove in Bridgeport, CT. I have been working on the boat ever since. She will have a new home in Cape Cod, MA this summer.

Best regards,
Ronnie V321
