Wow! That was quite a story Tim. I bet the final bill was a bundle. I should do the same thing to my Hunter 33.5. The keel is steel though and needs to be taken down to bare metal and immediately repainted. The keel to stub joint looks like it was worked on before, but not finished the way yours looks. I now have some leakage into the bilge at the aft keel bolt. With the economy in the dumps, I just can't come up with the cash to do this major job.
