Finally going to get back to Sliidell and the boat. As some of you know, I came to Dallas in mid Nov. to take my mother to Illinois for her sisters 100th birthday party. Plan at that time was to be back in Slidell, in early Dec. and head south for the winter. The Carribean was in my sights, after being put off for several years for many different reasons. After returning to Dallas, on Dec. 8, and before I left for home, my mother fell and broke her pelvis. I have been here in Dallas ever since, taking care of her. Tues. the Dr. gave her clearance to travel, so off we go. Am going to take her to La. for two weeks, do any necessary maint. on the boat, bring her back home and off I go. If no more un expected things happen, hopefully I will be on board and sailing south on the 10th or 11th of Feb.
