A few years ago I bought some kind of chemical release agent to soften up the glue on plastic trim when I replaced the forward hatch in my P 18. I no longer have that container ( I think it was yellow) and now need something like that again. I had a can of 3m spray adhesive in my pickup truck toolbox to reattach some rubber door seals on an excavator cab. The can leaked in the box and now my metal Craftsman toolbox is welded into the Weather guard truck box. Name that release or one like it please.

Try a scraper blade in an oscillating tool. Also, 3m makes an adhesive remover, check a big box hardware store.

Hi Dave, Heat from a heat gun may also do the job. 3M spray adhesive did not like the heat of Florida summers. (How we know that is a long, frustrating story that includes words unsuitable for children!)
