Greg, hang on to the VCR, might be worth something to a collector of antiquities some day.........

Today, we use a DVR and watch the shows we “taped” the day before. Maybe I should have said we “recorded”.

I hear from my wife's grand daughter that turn tables are all the rage now. I've still got one and boxes of records in the attic. At least with a VCR you can rewind to where you want and not have to watch a whole segment over again.

@shemandr you need to get with the program. Modern DVRs like Tivo let you skip ahead in 30 second segments, skip back in 8 second segments, skip ahead through the entire commercial break, and fast forward and fast reverse. A great improvement over tapes.

Yep, me too. I even have a turntable, but I haven't used it yet.

Funny you should mention that

My wife's bestie's 60th Bday party was at a disco bar. I somehow turned into a red headed Howard Stern. It was hoot and we had a ball. We all had a hard time walking the next day from dancing all night in platform shoes. Cindy wound up loosing a toe nail. They were brutal but it was a great time!

Well, the results are in and Al Stirpe easily won his seat in the NY Assembly, 58% to 42%.

t is insulting, really that the candidates actually believe that the voters are of such low intellect that we believe their line of bull.

Political parties wouldn't do it if it didn't work.
And yes.. LOTS of people are of "such low intellect".
They twist infomation and then dumb things down to equivalent of "Ogg is Bad ! Grog is good ! Vote Grog !"
Based on my obervation, Dunning-Kruger holds out and the vast majority of humans don't realize it.
The state of the planet, politically (and otherwise) is fubar.
