Hello Peggy! We are buying a new holding tank for a 50' Gibson Executive. We have a Par Electric in the Lower Cuddy and a Crown Raritan in the Upper Bathroom. We would like to use KO for our holding tank, and I want to get the installation correct. I need to vent through the side of the boat, but I can do 2 vents and I can do the 1 1/2 inch size. Raritan suggusted some type of clam shell fitting for the outside to capture the air when we are underway. the floor inside is v shaped where the holding tank would fit and is about 4 or 5 feet from the side of the boat and will back up to the engine compartment. any suggestions for placement of the vent holes on the tankand to the outside and where to find clamshell like additions for a through hull fitting?
