Hi All,

A question from a newbie. I've noticed a relatively small (12.5 mA) current drain when all switches on the control board are turned off. Opened the panel and found one terminal connected directly to the "hot rail" labelled #68. I disconnected it - the drain is gone but I don't see what is disabled now - everything seems to be working just as before. Does anyone know what was that?

Best way is to follow the wire...........

Do you have the switches that light when you turn them on? Do they still light?

It could be the fm radio memory power wire

We had the same thing 10 years ago and it was the radio drawing power to support the clock and memory. Good luck!

Some recommend to connect your fixed VHF directly to your battery so a bad breaker or switch does not prevent it from working. Could be that or the memory pwer as Pat and woodster said.
