The installation of shorepower to my H33C continues at a crawl. Main breaker and galvanic isloator installed, AC distribution panel ready to be wired, and i am now looking at the outlets on either side. I have replaced the first-in-line on the port side with a GFCI protected outlet. On the starboard side however, the first outlet is in the head and has some neat flip-over covers to prevent water ingress. These would not fit with a GFCI outlet. So i could either install a new GFCI outlet in between this and the AC panel, or i was wondering if it is possible to get a GFCI breaker and install in the power line between the AC panel and a non-GFCI outlet. Any thoughts?

Why do you say you can't get a GFCI in the flip up in the head? I have one. It would be much easier to install a GFCI outlet before the ehad outlet in the wiring, although some would say a GFCI breaker would be easier.

I installed a box with a gfi on the line leading to the head. It protects downstream to the head. You can never have enuf plugs and it ended up in the cabin over the starboard bunk...provides power to a fan, or the little box heater depending on the weather. EasyPeasy
