An isolation transformer is not the same as a Galvalic Isolator. A galvanic isolator can only isolate you from "galvanic currents" but not stray current. An isolation transformer fully isolates your vessel the the rest of the marina. The ELCI should be as close to the shore inlet as is practicable, be located so operational access is not difficult and in a hospitable environment.
