Getting the right tank

Peggy, I have never seen your comments on the flexible Nauta holding tanks. How are they? I am installing a new tank in the forward portion of the v-berth. I have searched and it seems the largest size in plastic is 20 gal. and would leave a lot of room wasted. I could build a template and get a custom stainless, but would leave many seams to break. A friend mentioned a Nauta tank, the 37 gal. could fill the space nicely. It's a 39' boat. Any thoughts? Mike

Ed, just because the tank didn't stink...

it doesn't mean that odor didn't belch out the vent from it each time the head was flushed. If you were one of very few who didn't have odor out the vent, you were just lucky. For some reason, one of the hardest concepts for people to grasp is that odor inside the boat and holding tank odor--odor out the vent--are almost never related...that a boat can be totally odor free inside and still gas everyone in a 50 yard radius...and vice versa...that a boat can have unbearable odor inside the cabin, but no odor out the tank vent.
