I just realized that Dave and I are having a private converstation on a public forum, Sorry about that. This is what happened, Friday the 19 I was sailing around Annapolis with some friends on board. Joan is out of town!!! No not that kind of friends! We had been anchored having lunch and once we finished it was time to go. The motor was running and I leaned over the stern to insert the pin back into the rudder and I got a little tingle as though electricity was running through me. I was holding onto the the stern railing which has the stern light attached to and touching the pin into the rudder. So I was completing a circut path. Neat! I tried this serveral time just to be sure. I called Dave on the cell phone and he had me try a couple of things. One was to pull the wire harness and see if I stilled got shocked - Nope... So now the fun begins to trace where there is a crossed wire. Jim S/V Java
