Getting Boat off Trailer

My 1994 Hunter 23.5 is on the trailer in my yard for the winter. I would like to get it off the trailer by myself to bottom paint. I believe jacking up the back corners of the trailer, with the boat on it, and then putting two jack stands within 1 to 2 feet in from the stern and off the center keel line will take care of the back end. Then, I can make an A frame over the top of the bow to pick up the bow and drive the trailer out from under it. So, I have 3 questions: Is the anchor chain attachment point strong enough to pick up the bow with a winch? Or is a sling under the hull needed? Any diagrams available showing where jack stands or slings should or should not be positioned to sit the boat on? Thanks for the help.

Easy Ones

No, Yes, No. The one in the anchor locker is nowhere near strong enough to do that nor is the cleat on the bow though the bow eye maybe. I would use a wide strap and place it where the bulkead is between the v berth and the rest of the cabin. I have seen stickers on the 240 indicating where to sling a call to Hunter could solve this one lets us all know what you find out. I have thought about cutting out two maybe even three pieces of 3/4" ply sandwiched together so it would be about 2" thick and conform to the shade of the hull for the stern. Then lower the tounge jack all the way, place the stand under the stern and then as you raise the jack the stern will come off of the trailer you could then use your idea for the bow and remove the trailer. I would not advise putting anything like your head or a limb that you would mind the boat sitting on top of under the boat while it is raised in such fashion.

my idea

there is a marina in my town with a rack storage system. they use a big fork lift to move the boats around. come spring im going to paint the bottom everywhere i can then have them lift the boat off the trailer to get the bunk areas and the centerboard i think ill replace the centerboard rope at this time.
