Don't wait if you want cheap solar. I was talking with an importer today who has one panel in his line that uses Chinese made cells. His tariff on those panels will be 112%, or so he was told. He has decided to stop importing that particular panel.. I suspect the days of $1.00 per watt are over..

I never new that prices ever got down that low to a buck per watt. I checked online a couple of years ago when a 120 watt panel was closer to 500 bucks or so per panel. If it got down to 120 bucks for a 120 watt panel then I would love to get my hands on one or more!

Not quite to that price...

...but not bad. The cheapest I saw there was $135 for the 100 watt. We bought our panels there.

Here is another site where I know that some have used...

and some of those are right at the $1.00/watt,

Whew! Glad I got mine. I have to think through how a labor-intensive product like solar panels can be made in a developed country.

Where can I find those dollar a watt panels?
They are out there, but not for long....

Heck I just ordered some top quality Kyocera panels for $2.07 per watt... I am sure once all the dumping of product, at below cost, is over legitimate brands like Kyocera will go back up in price to a level they can sustain...

Personally I don't buy or use cheap panels, seen too many delaminate, fail or not put out their rating or voltage but some do. I figured I'd mention it so while inventory is still here folks could grab it now...
