If so then rotate the engine until the hand pumping lever on the pump is free to move. Then operate the lever until either you get fuel out of the bleed screw or your hand falls off.
You may have to bleed more than once.
I am sure that most of you are aware that the lift pump has to be positioned correctly on the cam for the manual lift pump to work properly. Have someone bump the starter & then try to work the lift pump lever until you start to feel some resistance within the pump. May have to bump the starter numerous times to allow the lift pump to work. It will prime the system once the pump is correctly positioned on the cam. Can be frustrating for sure.
