I am thinking about either a 135% or 150% Genoa on my furler for my H306. Anyone have any experience with this and some welcomed advice? What do I need to consider? What are the limitations? (wind speed, points of sail, mechanical, etc)

And the house of cards falls down

light wind would suggest a spin or asym spin. They type of rig B&R is not made to handel much larger than a 110. The power is from the main. If you do not have a full roach main then to get one would increase your sail area.

Ditto!

It's all in the main on these new boats. You might go 120-130, but I doubt it'll help that much. As previous response said, work on down-wind speed w/cruising spinaker or some other kind of "chute". Up wind, it's all sail shape and traveler adjustments.

290/306

We had the first 290 and sailed it quite alot. The 306 replaced the boat but same hull and rig. Follow suggestions on the earlier two posts. If you get a larger sail, you will have to run the sheets outside the shrouds and of course that is not good. Spinnaker is the way to go. Crazy Dave Condon

Thanks everyone for the good advice

Asym Spinnaker seems to make the most sense. Any ideas on how much wind before you take it down?
