I have a new 150% genoa for my 25.5, and I need to add more genoa track than what came standard with the boat. Any suggestions on the best place to locate the tracks is appreciated!!

Snatch Blocks

Rather than trying to find a way (and room) to extend the tracks on my 25.5, i just bought snatch blocks and clipped them onto the toerail. It takes a little experimentation to find the right spot/angle for the sheets but works great with very little cost.

Sounds good

That sounds like a good idea -- thanks. The toe rail has plenty of strength for it?

I hope so

That's a good point, I "assume" it's okay, toerail is bolted down pretty well. If the wind is kicking up more than 18 knots or so, with that big of a sail up you'll be thinking about dropping it anyway.

Yep!

I have been using a 150 gen on my 25.5 for many years. I also use snatch blocks clipped to the toerail and have had no problems with the rail. It seems quite stout. You will find that breezy days with the 150 is too much for the 25.5 and should be ready to downsize the headsail appropriately. Depending on the cut of the sail, you may have to work around the lifelines some.
