I have a 1983 C-30 tall rig which I bought 2 years ago. At one point on the starboard genoa track the out board part of the "T" is turned up, as though it got hooked on something and bent up for a length of about an inch or so. It doesn't leak and it doesn't appear as though there is any structural damage from whatever caused it. We'll call it pride of ownership from the previous owner. The problem is that the genoa car won't slip forward beyond this point so when I'm reefed down I can't get a good set on a port tack.So my questions is do I remove it and have a metal shop fix it or replace it? I am leaning toward replacement. I see West has straight lengths of track. Does anyone know if the straight lengths can be used on the arc of the toerail or do I need to find a pre-curved section? Does anyone have experience replacing the genoa track?Would really appreciate any advise.Michael
