Hey all, starting my "racing" season this saturday and been struggling with the trim on my genoa.... when sailing port tack the leech flutters from about 1/2 up to the top, when sailing starboard its straight and looks great. I tried to loosen/tightened the halyard and nothing, I measured both sides on the track and set them the same according to the Neil Pryde guide online, still nothing. I tried moving it one forward and that did seem to tighten it somewhat.... anyone have a tip on how to resolve this ?

Last year, in an effort to fix this, I tightened on the leech line (running up the sail) and I might have over tightened it, anyone have a good suggestion on how to pull that back out ? I loosened the line on the bottom cleat in the sail but its there is slack on bottom yet pulls on top, this might be causing it as the seam is on inside when fluttering...

any tips much appreciated !

Try taking your halyard and measuring to the toerail at the mast. See if it comes out about the same port as starboard. Possibly your mast is not quite in column and you might have to adjust your shrouds, and the re tension the rig. either that or the shroud tension isn't the same side to side. If you have a Loos gauge or know someone who does, it helps to use it.
