Okay, I am not sure what is the size of my genoa. The lead blocks tune-in a few inches back from the front of the track. Is this a 110? Is a 110 standard for a Cat 22? Is there any place to get a copy of the Class Rules? How much halyard tension should a person run on this sail? I do not have a winch or anything to help with tensioning the jib halyard. What is the best and the cheapest way to help with this problem? Thanks, David

Head Sail

Okay, I am not sure what is the size of my genoa. Is this a 110? To determine what percentage(110, 135, 150...etc) your headsail is, measure from the clew of the sail to the closest point on the luff to determine the sail's luff perpendicular(LP) measurement. Divide this LP measurement by the Catalina 22's J measurement of 8ft to determine the size percentage. For example, if your luff perpendicular measurement is 8.8ft and your J measurement is 8ft, then 8.8 divided by 8 = 1.10 or 110 percent. How much halyard tension should a person run on this sail? It depends on the wind conditions. More tension in higher winds and less in lighter winds.
