Maybe with a picture or two. It bears a resemblance to a ‘62 Buick from this far away. :)

Meriachee, I guess you replied to a completely different question.

Nah, I didn't. Grab a picture or two. There's no way to know what it is without seeing it, the factory unit might be brandX, and somebody here likely knows what it originally came with, but who the heck knows what's happened since then. These are not the kind of questions you want to guess at. Hence the Buick statement.

Hello,
Can anyone advise the make and model of the furler.

In the absence of pictures, to help narrow the possibilities, is it a single line or double line furler? Ours is a double line, which I believe Hood (Model 810, I think) was the only double line brand used on Hunters.

Looks just like my Pro-Furl on my 1997 h40.5. I would need to find documentation to get the exact model.

EDITED: I found from an old specification document that it is a ProFurl #35 Basic

Now that's cool right there! Maybe a nice set of stick on fender vents from the local parts store for the boat. Wouldn't that just be the cats arse. :)

1973 Cutlass Salon coupe with the 350 and air conditioning option. Good thing we get better gas mileage than that nowadays.

Gas millage aside.... why are cars so ugly today?

So how about back to furlers- My ‘95 hunter 40.5 legend has two slots on the roller that covers the forestay either of which the sail mounts on. It comes apart about 3 feet off the deck and for the life of me I can not figure out how to get the two parts back together. I see no model numbers anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!!

How about images of your furler and the extrusion?
Furlers are often options provided by the dealer or changed by previous owners.

Are you aware that you replied to a six-year-old thread?
