I have almost completed renovation of a Hunter 33 Cherubini, a casualty of hurricanes Jeanne and Francis. The furling jib needs replacement and I am trying to decide on either a 130% or 140%. The sailing here (Atlantic coastal off Boca Raton) is typically 15kt. 4-6 ft seas and in summer 10kt with 3ft waves. The main is relatively small on the H-33 so perhaps the 140 would be better. What do you experienced H-33 owners think? Thanks, Henry

The Hunter Cherubini owners have their own forum on this website. You might get a better responce from it.

I'd go with a 155. I had one on my Hunter 33, which I just sold, and it worked great. You can always furl the sail in some if the wind picks up and just adjust the snatch block on the toe rail forward for the smaller size sail.
