So as I know I need a new head sail for my 1977 25 CB, I only have an old 100% currently, and I have tried searching for the information and have not found it yet, does anyone know the dimensions of a hank on 135% and/or 150% genoa for an O'Day 25 CB? Some places say they have them and others want dimensions and others say "possible 148%" etc...... Thanks in advance.

CB

EDIT: I have all of the dimensions for the boat from Sailboat Data of course, just want to know what the foot length would be and the luff so I can determine if a sail in question is what will work.

OK so a little more digging and I found this information on SailRite's website. LINK The dimensions are slightly different for the Tall-Rig as opposed to the CB model so I am not sure if the Genoa numbers would match OK. The dimensions they have are for a 150.

Look up luff perpendicular. I did a quick Google search for the same question for another skipper just the other day. Any of the sailmakers websites will have this explanation. That's the % dimension you need, not the foot.

Thanks Stu. I changed my searching and lo and behold, all sorts of information. As you said, a little digging on the sailmaker's websites and you can find all kinds of stuff. Hopefully this info can help someone else out too.

Thanks again.
