I recently bought a new, 2005 hunter 33. I was wondering if anyone has experience installing a diesel generator in this model. Seems like the sail locker on the Port side is pretty small. I was wondering if anyone has tried to fit a generator in that location. If so, what model and size did you install? thanks, Darryl

I have a new 33 here that I looked at to install a generator, I didn't do any measuring on the boat. First glance I think you are going to have to go with a Westerbeke 3.8BCDT or a Panda PMS4200. If your going to use the aft cabin as the master it's going to be loud either way. I realy didn't see anywhere eles on the boat to put one.
