In the process of installing a pedestal guard on my 28 foot 1979 O'Day, Moonstruck, I removed the Geminin compass to install the pedestal guard brace. The under side of the copmass is equipped with two small diameter brass rods that house small magnets. One of these brass rods is broken at the joint where the two rods come together.
Anyone have an knowledge about braizing brass?
Does anyone have a diagram of how the brass rods/magnets should be installed?
