Does anyone know of a gel coat company that has CAL in its database for a color match. I've got a White 1983 CAL 35 which is in need of major gel coat repair but so far I don't know about matching the color.

getting a perfect gel match is almost impossible having algrip applied to the hull is one option but expensive, filling any deep scratches and painting it is another. If you have the time you can do it yourself. I am working on a cal 25 that I picked up as a project it had cracks and scratches on the starboard side and was missing two feet of the bow. After repairing the damage I painted it with interlux perfection two part epoxy paint, it came out like new I've gotten lots of compliments.

The 'best' for exact color matching is always to cut a 3/4" plug and have it computer color matched. GP, Inc. does this as do other gelcoat suppliers.
