gear-box cable

the gear box cable on my yanmar ysm-`12 will not fully engage in forward.reverse is fine but i want to replace the cable but havin a problem finding the right part.any ideas on were i can get the right one and any info on installing would be helpful.Thanks all readers

I can not offer any first hand advice on installation, but if you have the same dual-lever Edson engine controls and pedestal that I have on my 1982 Hunter 30, I know that Edson sells the corresponding control cables.
