I just installed a new gasket in my Lewmar port light. Defender Industries ordered it for me directly from Lewmar. Unfortunately, I cannot get the lens to latch closed. The gasket seems too thick. Lewmar assures me it is the correct part. Has anyone experienced this problem and can offer a fix. I have a 2001, Cat310, hull number 101.
