Gas consumption for Catalina 30 with Atomic 4

I will be delivering an older Catalina 30 with an Atomic 4 gas engine. I need to know how many hours per gallon the engine will burn, and the cruising speed so I can plan the trip. Any body know these figures?

Rule of thumb

would be about 1 gal per hour at 5.5 knots. That should be fairly conservative.
