Garmin touch screen 7012 chart plotter

Hello fellow sailors:

Has anyone installed the new Garmin 7012 touch screen chart plotter at the helm. I am toying with ripping out my complete Raymarine system and upgrading to a Garmin touch screen. I only sail my 49 in the Chesapeake Bay, so I am not concerned about rough seas interfering with my ability to find the correct button on my plotter.

I would love some input!

I have a touchscreen Garmin 5208 plotter at the helm and love it. Never had any problem using it in rough weather. It's interfaced with a Garmin radar, West Marine AIS, and Raymarine instruments (depth, speed, wind, and autopilot) and works well. I think those who have raised the issue of difficulty or accuracy operating in rough seas have probably never actually used one.
