The unit does indeed have multiple find lists
When you press the find key once, you get waypoints. You are getting the 'recent' hits the second time around. There is a third way to this list as well, using the main menu then scrolling to recent finds. In actuality there are numerous lists available (8 in total) from the find menu including waypoints, geocache, cities, exits, recent finds, all points of interest (POI), marine and geographic. Repeadedly hitting the find key will only switch between waypoints and recent finds however.I am a recent new user of the 76Cx as well and was told by the supplier that this is about 5 generations ahead of the eTrex I owned previously. He told me that the unit was extremely intuitive and not to try to outhink it, just figure out what it was doing. In most cases it figures out errors you are making and adjusts accordingly. For example using the goto function, I was thouroghly impressed to find that if I missed a turn, it would guide me back to the turn, but if I deliberatly kept on going, it would determine the next best alternate route for me. Similarily it would auto zoom to best match my speed of travel, and alerts occurred sooner at faster speeds than when walking. There are many feature of the machine that are not listed in the owners manual.
