Thanks. I was wondering about this last summer. Then winter came and
I forgot about it. Now I can remember again and fix it.

BTW, did anyone mount the GPSmap 76 inside the companionway on a swing
arm, so it can be swung around into the companionway where it is
visible to whomever is on the tiller? If so, did you fab one yourself
or buy something stock? Can you post where you got it or a drawing of
the one you built?

I use a Ram Mount. They make a TON of different mounts.
They're a bit pricey, but the quality is very good.

I use them for the depth sounder and GPS.

Mine have the ball-socket type arms. I think next time I'd get the
swing arm that keeps the gps at the same level as it swings. The ball-
socket can also travel up and down.

I've also seen some nice custom made mounts
