Garmin continues to provide great service

I just got off the phone with Jason at Garmin who was very nice and is helping me out with a minor out of warranty issue. In fact they are insisting on replacing the 2 year old screen on my 3206 with a new and improved screen for free. Working for a premier service company I demand the best and they have always been great. Tim R.

yeah but!

Garmin took mine in for service and replaced it of a fee. My bitch its the 400 or so waypoints they failed to recover from my unit. They said it would be no problem. I guess it wasnt for them!

Really?

When I sent mine in last year, I backed up all my waypoints and routes which is pretty easy considering I created them all on my laptop anyway but they actually sent me a brand new replacement with all my data on it(except the track). I did, however, have to run through the setup for my preferences. Tim R.

I Had great Experience with Garmin

I had a great experience with Garmin too. Sorry to hear Ed's experience was less than perfect but I only have good things to say about Garmin and its products.
