HELP! I'm planning to go North to Desolation Sound from Vancouver B.C. shortly and my SD card hasn't got the charts that I need. I don't want to go out and spend a ton of money on a new GPS System but can't seem to find some where that provides SD card's with info for a GARMIN 135. Does anyone know where I can get a new SD card with Blue Charts info for Desolation. I like my Chartplotter and want to make this work! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in Advance!

I don't think Garmin sells any maps for GPSMAP 135, anymore. I have seen someone in Hamilton (ON) who sells a used All US map on SD for $40. But this is a BlueChart G2.
Older maps (older formats) don't have any updates anymore. So, even if you could load them, you would not have up to date information.

If you don't have any luck finding Garmin charts, check out the Navionics SonarCharts for Garmin GPS -- http://www.navionics.com/en/sonarcharts-garmin. They've been saying their cards work better on the older units, since Garmin has been putting out changes to their software to block third party charts on their units...if you shoot Navionics support an email they'll be able to steer you in the right direct and may still have some beta testing cards you could get for free if they have any left.

Had some issues with Navionics and getting the right chart. Found a chip that will work in my 172 (not 135) on ebay. Hope it all works out! Thanks again for your suggestions and help!
