I installed a 720 on my 2009 Hunter 36. I use the G2 Vision charts and have had no problems. Set your safe draft and your mast height and you're set. One button to turn on the power and the rest is touch screen...expand, reduce, and drag. I was at the Vancouver, BC boatshow last week and I see the Hunter dealer out of Vancouver are complimenting their 36's with the 720. I may have been an influence after all my talk of how what a great piece of electronics it is...simple with performance. Good choice! I'm pondering installing the Garmin HD18" radar versus installing an autopilot as this years project. Again, being at the Vancouver boatshow I talked to a Garmin rep and they demo'd their HD18 on the 720...very nice! I see you're a NorthWesterner...so placement is important. Another alternative besides radar is the AIS system. I have it on my IPhone...it's good for seeing the big boys before they round the points and through the gates. Cheers!
