Garmin 72 Upgrade

Hi purchased a Garmin 72 at the Annapolis Boat Show. I paid $130 and it is a good quality and simple to operate GPS. It is a very basic GPS and was thinking of buying another as a backup. Could use some advise about other affordable Garmin models that have maping and color screens. Any suggestions?

The Garmin 72 is a backup

If you want color and chartplotting, you need to move up to at least the Garmin Map76C, or even the 276C semi-portable, which is a very cool unit but still fairly small.
