Galvanic Isolator wire size

Doing some upgrades and will be shortly installing a ProMariner FS30Amp ProSafe galvanic isolator. I have a single 30 Amp / 120V shore power cord. The instructions do not give the wire size to use for the installation (from the bulkhead connector to the Galvanic Isolator). The isolator will be located within about 2 feet or closer to the bulkhead connector.

I assume I can sue the existing green wire that now goes from the bulkhead connector to the AC Ground Bus or wire of the equivalent size. Thanks in advance.

Install inline with the present safety green wire as close as is convenient immediately down stream of the shore power cord receptacle (the place where the cord plugs in to the boat.)

The safety green wire does not need to be different from the gauge presently in use so you can use the same gauge wire or anything larger - just do not go smaller.

+1 on what Charles said..

Your incoming 30A service should be 10GA. Just cut the green wire and insert the GI into it. Usually close to the service entrance is where this is done...
