Clearing up the zinc story.
I appreciate all the responses that I have received re the galvanic corrosion problem. They sem to be split between tying the AC green to the boat ground. In order to clear up my zinc question, I have replaced the two zincs each spring and have found that they both were GONE in the fall at haul-out in the last three seasons. On previous sailboats, I have never had a zinc disappear in a season. I will try the "solution" of disconnecting the AC green from the boat ground nd will let you know the results in the fall. hanks for your interest. Ray
