galley sink facet leaks

my pump handle on the galley sink of my 1998 hunter 26 has started to leak water out the side whenever we use it...the facet unit easily comes off, but I can't find replacement parts or the whole unit...do I have to get it from the factory?...thx for your help

Jay, It's easier to go to the local RV outlet or

West Marine etc. and replace the entire faucet with a brand that has repair kits available. Pick up a kit also and stock it in your "spares" box. OEM parts on Hunter fixtures is very hard to locate if you need them within 2 or 3 seasons.RayS/V Speedy95 H26

Replacement Faucets

JayI replaced mine last year. The company that makes them is called Jem, If I remember correctly. They were about $15.00 dollars. Also, they use a common "0" ring that can be purchased at West Marine.Dan S/V Unruly Julie

Faucets - h26

Jay, I had the same problem in my 1997 h26. Both faucts leaked. I felt that the faucets were cheaply made and not worth fixing. I went to West Marine on one of my trips north of the border and bought a double action faucet for the head and a foot pump for the galley. I am happy with my purchases. David King
