I have leak in the galley sink drain. In the attached photo the black ring is loose and I can’t tighten it any further. Has anyone else had this problem? Catalina does not have a part to replace this for my 2004 model.

The sink drain on yours appears to be a 3.5 inch kitchen sink drain to which the forespar sink drain is attached. Most are tightened to the bowl using a large threaded ring, yours uses those bolts as a clamp that doesn't look like it works.
And while you are in there messing around, check the drain hose.
Mine (1988 O’Day 322) were badly rotted…I left that thru-hull open many times last year. Over the winter, I check it and was shocked at the condition…

Thanks, mine looks OK, but it is 18 years old, so makes sense to replace it while fixing the drain.
