My father sent me a sliding galley for my C22 but the boat is not plumbed for it. I assume you tap into one of the cockpit drain tubes? I have also read that the old gate type valve should be replaced with a ball type. This would be a good time to change all this plumbing, but I'm afraid of disturbing the pipe nipple glassed into the bottom. Has anyone replaced all this plumbing??? Thanks, Jay

hello jay, in the cabin on the starbord seating area should be a built in funnel that the sink will drain into. it should have a 1/2 inch pipe nipple at its bottom for a hose to be clamped to. if you remove the companionway step you will have access to it. the cockpit drains make a " y " with the tail of the y going out through a gate valve on the starbord side of the " y " cut the hose and install a 1/2 inch pipe t connection. hook the hose from the sink funnel to a ball valve and then to the middle of the " t " . i have not replaced my cockpit gate valve yet. good luck john
