I had the pump working again but I noticed that it was leaking like a champ. It was raw water coming in the boat when the sink drain was open. I then had the pump break again when I was working on it so I, in fustration, dug around the boat and found an old oar lock for my dingy. I stuck it in the through hull part of the line and put two hose clamps around it....no leak. I then disconnected the ice box and I am letting it drain into the bilge.
My uncle removed a foot pump out of his Catalina 34. He said that he would give me his old one. I am going to put that back into the system, eventually....that and a vented loop!
