I have an older style American Standard faucet in the galley. It looks like the Reliant model, but I think the fittings are older. It leaks, and I already replaced the cartridge-still leaks. I'm in the process of replacing the swing spout seals (American Standard 030118-0070A Swing Spout Seal Kit - Faucet Spouts And Kits - Amazon.com) as the last resort. Question is.. these seals have a channel on one side.. does anyone know what orientation they go? When I removed the old ones, I was oblivious and have no idea. I've also tried all combinations of re-installing the old,.. thinking that is why the faucet still leaks.. but to no avail. Replacing the entire faucet looks like a total PITA considering the lack of room under galley (deep sink etc).
