I wonder what some of you had done to better keep track of head tank level. I have a 1989 30_88-94 and do not have access to the head tank, it is located in the head vanity under the storage section. I can see the of the tank through slots cutin bottom shelf of the storage section, but cant remove self do to size of manual pump is that stanard. I read that if I had access I could use a flash light to shine through tank and see level. I thought to get tank level indicator but would still need access to install and if the flashlight idea works would rather not put hole in tank. would like suggestion on which level indicators if used are good. another question which I'm sure the answer is no but is there anyway I can make my tank safe enough to cycle sea water through my tank and back out in the cheasepeake bay of course I would have tank pumped out and treated. I just thought if I could get a good flush of system I could cut into tank for tank level indicator. If not please advise me of what one does for pluming work. I also read that I could replace head hose with pvc if anyone ever heard this please advise of goods and bad I'm scared it would be to ridge for the pounding around. Thank you
